Google Checkout Double Registration

Hi all...

Currently, my buyers experience purchasing a digital delivery item is as follows when the Google Checkout payment option is chosen...

1. Customer registers on my site
2. Customer selects Google checkout and registers for google checkout
3. The customer completes payment and then is told to log into there account on my site to retrieve download.
4. The customer thinks they should login to the account that they registered on my site, but the download shows up in a Google checkout created account on my site (API)
5. The customer seems to be unaware of the Google Checkout created registration.

From what I understand, Zen cart forces registration before it will aloow Google checkout to be used, so every user is being registered twice. Is there anything that can be done to make it more apparent where the download will be?

Hi all...I am using Google checkout payment module and selling digital goods. It seems that folks get confused on how to retrieve their item. I would like to generate an email after purchase is complete with links to download purchased goods...How would I go about doing this?

What download method are you using??

If using the method that provides an actual link
Having it included in the email on a dynamic basis will require some custom coding

I would provide clear instructions on your site versus attempting to include in an email for security/protection reasons
