Selective Usage

Alright I just signed up to ask a simple (hopefully) question before I dive deeper into ZenCart.

Is it possible to use zencart outside of it's installation directory?

I want to be able to include a category/product page within another section of a website that will still use the functions of the zencart without needing to be in the zencart directory.

The site itself will have 1 page for products. Currently there is only 3 products and they are similar so I would assume they fall under the same category.

On this page they would just have a BUY NOW sort of link that would add the item to the users cart.

No need to have a featured products page, coming soon page, specials page or any of that stuff. I just want a simple single product page that someone can buy a product, alter the quantity, register/checkout and be done with it.

I tried looking around here but I couldnt even think of the keywords I might use to search, or what faqs might answer this.

kuroi has a solution here, though it's just for embedding links on non-Zencart sites to add products to the Zencart shopping cart:
