500 error code need help

Hi i'm using 1.3.9d and this is the first time im using Zen Cart. I have no add ons other then the Darkness template. Everything was working fine, i put the maintenance screen up. Started work on the catalog. There is no error while maintenance is up but when i turn it off there is a 500 error when going to the main page of the website.

I am not seeing the 500 error but am able to navigate your site ...

Where are you seeing the error?

I too am reaching your site without a problem.

500 errors generally relate to SERVER misconfigurations - so they have nothing to do with zencart (although ZC may send a request that the server does not understand - so a 500 error will occur).

Sometimes, website hosts fiddle about with the server, and if you are online when they are fiddling, something that they are busy doing can generate an error.

As your site is running now, it appears that the goofball at your webhost who was "fiddling" earlier, has now called in his boss to fix his mistakes!
