Larger image in small window

Result! The pop-up size is correct with the Classic template. But I'm using this template (Dezina Advent) on other sites and it's working fine, for example here:

Somewhere the templates and overrides are breaking something or something is out of date ...

You would need to do a comparison of your files on the server with a clean v1.3.9d (or in your case v1.3.9c) to see what might be wrong ...

NOTE: when doing comparisons you should compare the default files to your override files to see if there are changes that need to be extended to your templates and overrides ...

I was afaid it might come to this. I will download one of those file comparison applications, I've never done this. Can you siggest a good one?

I like Beyond Compare from scootersoftware.com ... others like WinMerge ...

Thanks for the tip Ajeh. I downloaded Beyond Compare and I'm comparing the two includes folders, where the fault probably lies. But this folder is huge and apart from starting from the top and examining every file, is there another way? Any advice much appreciated...

If you have one set of files in the Left Panel and the other set of files in the Right panel ... you can highlight the files in the Left Panel and click right and click on the Compare Contents ...

After it is done, you will see in the menu at the top a black asterisk and a red = with a slash through it ...

The black asterisk shows all files and the red = with the slash through it shows just files with differences ...

Hi again Ajeh,
I have been procrastinating like mad but have made myself come back to this very annoying problem. I have opened the two includes folders side by side. Just about every single file and folder in the right side (live site) is red. So apparently this means they are either different or newer. Of course they are newer. I wish it would just mark the different ones. Do I have to compare all 1000 or so files, just because they are newer?

It's OK, I have fixed the pop-up problem. I found another related thread which made me check popup_image/tpl_main_page.php in the template folder, and noticed that I had removed resize(); from <body id="popupImage" onload="resize();"> for some reason. I replaced it and now the pop-up resizes to the correct size.
But I am still interested in learning about BeyondCompare - is there some way to get it to only mark the files that are different, instead of all the newer ones too?

You would have to work with the different settings but usually you need to see both the New and the files that have changed in order to get a site current ...

You will see the NEW files easily as they are in a different color than the others ...

The different files will also show in a different color ...
