1064 SQL error on Featured Products page

I've searched all over and found several threads that seem to mention this issue, but no solutions that seem to work for me. When I go to the Featured Products page, I get this error:

1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'limit 10' at line 1
in:
[ limit 10]

I can't figure out how to solve this for the life of me. Any ideas out there?

Well, that didn't answer it but helped me find a clue. There was nothing listed as a 0 so that wasn't it. However there is an element called "Maximum Display of Featured Products Page". This was set to 10. When I tried changing it to 9, my error changed to:

in:
[ limit 9]

when previously it had been:

1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'limit 10' at line 1
in:
[ limit 10]

So it would seem that my issue is directly related to that element.

I've been looking for the same answer - with no luck either. Have you found a solution yet?
