Help!

I was trying to rename my admin folder so I edited the admin/includes/configure.php file. But now what I get is the "System Setup Required" page! I tried changing everything back but it still showing me that page!

Not sure I know what you mean by the system set up page. Is that the Zen Cart installation page?

The most common reason for seeing that page is incorrect path information in the configure.php file(s).

I did everything as described, but still not working.

I'm afraid that the page you're getting is telling you that you didn't do everything exactly as instructed.

I recommend retracing your steps to double check everything.

Another common problem is that you have done exactly what was required, but because the configure.php file is write protected, your changes haven't made it onto your web server.

The files are not write protected. I tried going trough the installation again but instead of doing a new install I updated the database (cause I dont want to lose my information), it gave me this note:

NOTE:
If you are Upgrading, be sure to choose "Database Upgrade" below to keep your data.

If you choose "Install", you will erase all the contents of your database.

But still, if I try to get into the admin folder it takes me to the setup page

The problem is most likely to do with your admin configure.php file. Upgrading your database will have made zero difference to that.
