The background-image and the background-repeat are the two lines I removed, and everything went haywire. I guess I need those.

But now that they're back in, it still stays screwed up.

I know that was dumb, but I thought it was no big deal. I intend to do that 100 more times, until I figure out what look I'm trying to obtain.

But if you put the stylesheet back the way it was, why won't it go back to where it was?

I had this same problem a couple of days ago regarding layout boxes. Well, you have to reset those. I can understand that. What do I reset now? This is some lines I took out. But I put them back!

Is there a guide for all the reset things that necessary out there when you change your CSS?

If there is a separate reset function for every line of CSS change that you do, I may rethink my plan to experiment 100 more times. I thought CSS changes would make it simple......?

And then, assuming I can fix the site back to where it was....How do I change the green bar behind the logo? I changed it on my experimental site easy enough.....
