Google Analytics on Contact Us Success Page

OK, thanks. Pasted the conversion code in the top of the contact us page, but surely that means anyone who just browses that page without submitting an email will count as a conversion?

.... I thought you were creating funnel, you have created a one page conv code?

Then you must locate the checkout success template page and insert it in there.

Still applying the analytics code correctly to your website will allow you to create a funnel to track this much easier.

I want to track how people get to our site and send an email enquiry - nothing to do with making a sale. To us that is a 'Lead Conversion'. A Google rep said we need to create a conversion with a tracking purpose of 'Lead' and place the code on the contact us confirmation (success) page.

There must be someone who has done this..?

Google analytics already has this ability.... Called funnels. The issue with the way you intend to proceed is 2 fold...

1. No steps leading in to the conversion
2. Your website is dynamic not static

If you had analytics installed correctly would be no problem....
