    Default Admin Optimize Database issue

    Hi, I am running ZC 1.3.8a and when i was given the warning that the database needed its regular maintenance, I also was wanting to run the following;

    Optimize Database to remove wasted space from deleted records.
    May be optionally run monthly or weekly on a busy database.
    (Best to run during non-busy times.)

    When I click the "Confirm" button to run this - I receive this error message

    1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '-a-zenc-1' at line 1
    in:
    [SHOW TABLE STATUS FROM web183-a-zenc-1]
    If you were entering information, press the BACK button in your browser and re-check the information you had entered to be sure you left no blank fields.

    Can anyone tell me how to fix this please?

    Thanks heaps in advance :)

    It's not liking the non-alphanumeric characters in your database name.
    A fix to accommodate such cases is included in v1.3.9, which you should be upgrading to.

    Remember: Always upgrade first using a COPY of your site, not the real LIVE site directly. Then repeat on the live site once you've sorted out any kinks.
