Hide shipping options in checkout?

Yes, I know it sounds as if I want to be devious, but I am trying to simplify my site as much as possible. At present time we have 1 type of product, and shipping is a flat rate 1 dollars.. (as is posted in the header of all pages... So


What I'm looking to do is complely bypass the shipping method page in the checkout... Is this possible and where would I figure out how.... I'm pretty sure theirs prob no "built in switch" and that it's prob gonna require coding... just not sure where to start...

Setting your products as 'virtual' in the product setup page will bypass the shipping checkout page.

I think a better idea would be to install the Fast and Easy Checkout mod and activate the One Page Checkout feature. People are used to seeing shipping cost information during checkout rather than on the product page.
