Pages exist but still 301 (1.3.8 with SSU)

Greetings

First post on the forum and new to zencart.

I have a client's site which is running 1.3.8.

Apart from homepage, every page that is pulled from the site gives a constant 301 in headers. I tried get_headers() of PHP for all pages but it gave 20 times 301 until exhausted.

However, the page exists and I can view it in the browser. Can anyone explain what could be the problem. I already checked .htaccess with no help.

The URL is http://www.acegreenhouses.com/aluminium-greenhouses. The homepage is fine but all other pages give 301 which makes me think that maybe its due to a SEO module.

On first glance I assumed this was running SSU, but rather I think it is running the commercial module Magic SEO urls.

I have seen this issue with that module before. Simply put because magic seeks to not display the session ID, but Zen Cart needs it....

The page is redirecting to the session-ed url.

This is most disturbing as it is backwards..... permanently redirecting to the session id url is bad news.

Unfortunately, you will have to contact the module developer as, appropriate or not the module files are mostly encrypted and you cannot edit them or troubleshoot properly.

So unless you have a url options under Extras in your Zen admin called Simple SEO url Manager, then you are at the Magic SEO developer's mercy.

I had a chat with client and contrary to our belief, client is running SSU (Simple SEO URL manager) could you help me from there?

I have disabled the SSU and status 200 starts showing which puts the blame right back to SSU.

First is to upgrade if needed http://simple-seo-url.com/

Then you can contact the mod developer and he will help you.
