Help! Subcategories show blank

I have the following page on my site here http://www.boatersontop.com/index.ph...cPath=17_43_99 but you will see that the page is blank. I know I can enter a picture or something but I'd rather have it drill down to the subcategory below which does contain products. So every category except for the top level seems to be blank. Is there any way to that or to make it like this site http://wharftronics.com/communicatio...ucts-c-12.html where the categories show on the page? Going nuts over here I know there is a way to do it but can't get it. please help! This looks bad on my site just trying to make it flow better.
