Google Checkout not working with IE8

We are running Zen Cart v1.3.9b and Google Checkout v1.4.7 and it is not working with Internet Explorer 8, but it is working with Mozilla Firefox. We are using frames and it is blocking google checkout from opening up. Our idea is to try to get Google checkout to open up in a new window, but we do not know where to change this setting. Far as I know, there is no way to make any payment processor work within frames due to security issues.

Can you provide an explanation why you're using frames ?
