Is it possible to make the white part of the header transparent??

I've looked everwhere and cant find anything.

In this case, you would need to remove the mainWrapper and logoWrapper background colors and then put them in the other areas as needed.

if you make header transparent , you will have a ugly white corners on some of your image , and you need to modify size , and other stuff ..

why don't you create a background for your header that matches background of your site .?

don't forget , transparency applies to images .. and both IE and other browser use different way to show them .
