Does Zen Cart look to template_default for css

Haven't even thought of this before, but the situation rose it's head while playing with the new 1.3.9e.

I installed a clean 1.3.9e to test the newest IH2 8c mod.
No other mods were added.
One test product was added.
It has been reported on the IH2 thread.

However, I felt the stylesheet question belonged here as it may affect many stylesheet situations.

When Zen Cart does not find, say, define_main_page.php in the current template, it goes looking in template_default regardless of what folder the current template is in.

Apparently that is not the case with stylesheets. In my clean test, IH2 would not work correctly until the stylesheet was placed in the classic/css.

I'm aware that most would not use classic, but I'm also aware that a lot of folks do.

Is this, in fact, the way stylesheet discovery is and has been working? Will Zen Cart not search template_default/css for any "missing" stylesheets?

If the "css" folder exists inside a template folder, with .css files in it, then it will *only* look to that folder for stylesheets, and not fallback to template_default.
That way if someone does NOT want a css file listed in the template_default, then it won't get loaded.

So ... the "folder" override is checked and used, but if the "folder" exists, then only the current folder's contents is used. Per-file overrides don't happen if the custom "css" folder exists.
