No stock level on certain products

Some of my products are ordered from the manufacturer as needed and hence I don't keep any in stock. Is there a way to set certain products to have no quantities? The rest of my products still require the quantity field.

If you need to track stock on only some products, you are best to set the stock on the other Products to something like 99999 ...

If you don't want to display the stock on just some products, if this is by manufacturer then you could customize your product _info page using your templates and overrides ...
