Does anyone know how to shut off displaying the categories on the TOP of every pages? Also, how do you display the number of items under a sub-category? I can see the main category showing the number of items there are not counts next to the sub-categories: (i.e. Widgets (1)
micro-widgets nero-widgets
The two under Widgets show no counts.
Thanks - I've been trying to eliminate the categories all afternoon from the top of the pages but just can't find the option.

Configuration > Layout Settings > Categories-Tabs Menu ON/OFF.
The Zen Cart default is to show counts for every category and subcat. If you are not seeing it for subcats, your template may have changed the coding; we would need to see your site live to start to diagnose this.
How many products are there in each of your subcats?
