Linking in Newsletter, not showing on e-mail

Hi there,
I just browsed through these topics and I don't see anything regarding my problem, so I'm hoping someone can help.

I design a newsletter using rich text/html linking words to outside links (ie. The Cafe is linked to our site) and I send out the newletter...
Not 1 item that I linked came through as a link.
Any thoughts?

I don't think I had the e-mail settings set properly in the store configuration. I went and adjusted some things and hopefully it will help!
