Need to get ride of FEC Javacript URLs in Who's Online

I installed FEC a while ago, but have not been using it and its turned off. But, still Javascript links show in place of the actual URLs where the visitors are.
How can this be fixed without actually uninstalling FEC?

I found the fix for this.
But NOT sure if it's the proper way of doing it.

Find the file called javascript_check.php and rename it to something else.
It should get rid of thise Java urls in your who's online page.
Make sure to test you admin and site to see if everything is working ok. If not, revert the name back to the original, and seek help from one of the zc gurus.

In my case, everything is ok.
