Is there a Module For this?

Hi,

IS there a mod for this or can any one help, I need to add a box in quite a few of my products pages where I can enter about 5 or 6 ring sizes, I would like it to fairly small about the size of a couple of CMs with an arrow or something to show the sizes in a drop down menu, any one know how to do this or can sugest anything.

Hi,

Yes will require the customer to pick their size before going to check out and this size will show with the model number, the links you left look quite useful though not quite into all this yet, I also want to place a PDF file some where they can download it and then print it. with full instructions, on how to come to there ring size with graphs and a measuring tape on it.

It's possible you could put that information in an EZ-Page (instead of a download) and customers could print it from there. Just a thought...

Also be advised that Zencart doesn't currently support attributes with unique model numbers, nor is there a mod.

I agree with afo - create your PDF and link to it using an EZ Page.

Thanks for the advise, but how would I exactly go about this as so far have been no where near Ezpages. how would I place the sizes and pdf file into these pages and where would this page show on my cart. All sounds so simple but putting in to practise is never the same! when you do not know where to start or what you are doing.

Your help and assistance would be greatfully received.

Create the PDF and place it somewhere in your folder system (I usually put stuff like that in /images).

Then go to Admin - Tools - EZ-Pages. Click 'New File'.

- Enter a Page Title.

- Decide where you want the link to the page (Header, Footer or Sidebox - or more than one) and click the Yes radio button by that choice and No on the others. Enter a sort order for the one(s) you selected - the link won't appear without a sort order.

- Leave the HTML Content box empty.

- In the Internal Link URL box, enter the path to your PDF file.

- Click Insert.

Let me just get this with you I load my pdf file to images or say dowload in my root, got that I think, so when it asks for the URL would that be just /images/ or such or would I put www. mydomain.co.uk/images or something like this.

I can never remember where you need full URL's and where you dont, but it can't hurt to put the whole thing there, so it would be http: //www.yoursite.com/images/yourfile.pdf. The only problem that can cause is if you move your site to a subdirectory or another domain.
