1. You might want to reconsider using GoDaddy as your host. They're poor when it comes to properly running advanced systems like Zen Cart.

2. Zen Cart draws the URL from the information *you* supply during installation. If you specified an HTTPS address as your main site address, then that's what it uses.
You can change it in the /includes/configure.php file.

3. "I can't believe I'm the only one who has had this problem" is a statement of impatience, as is the fact that you've waited just slightly more than 2 hours for a reply. There are thousands of users here, all busy people, all volunteers. If you have something more to add to your post to make it easier for people to help you, add it.
