ok im a bit stuck.
after the latest zen update the simple seo urls mod no longer works.
so, ive installed a new one which works fine.
now the issue i have is google have indexed the site without extensions... how do i remove them?

the current mod rewrite is:

Code:
##### NOTE: Replace /shop/ with the relative web path of your catalog in the "Rewrite Base" line below:

# Don't rewrite real files or directories
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f [NC]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule ^(.*).html$ index\.php?main_page=$1&%{QUERY_STRING} [L]

This changes the urls to seo urls perfectly... however, it adds .html on to the end of every page.

I added this to the end :
Code:
RewriteCond %{SCRIPT_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule ^([^\.]+)$ $1.php [NC,L]
RewriteRule ^([^\.]+)$ $1.html [NC,L]
This still didnt work and i realised the main issue with the google indexed urls was the .html$ so i removed all of these and the google index now works....

However, the .html still remains when clicking on links through the site.
The current htaccess is now:

Code:
##### NOTE: Replace /shop/ with the relative web path of your catalog in the "Rewrite Base" line below:

RewriteCond %{SCRIPT_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule ^([^\.]+)$ $1.php [NC,L]

Can anyone see the issue? as to why the .html and .php removal rewrite isnt working?
