Help: column_layout grid v 1.3.8 installation error

Hi,

Can the currnet version 1.3.8 be use in v1.3.9e.

Im having problem with the installation

1)How do i do a backup or which files to backup?

2)the root of the zen cart files, does it mean public_html/includes?

3)SQL Commands: there's two part insert one at a go or two?

When i install step 3 it show the error did i get the steps wrong.

2. The root is public_html.

3. Copy all the text in the SQl file and paste it in the box in admin. What error are you seeing ?
