    Default Secure Certificates, sub-domains

First time install of latest version of Zen cart.

My site has a paid members section and we process our own credit cards online at:

    https://secure.mysite.com/

That works perfect with the membership software (aMember), and also did with old style Perl shopping cart.

Building a new store with ZEN on sub-domain at:

    http://store.mysite.com/

I'm told (by tech) that I can't set ZEN cart to collect payments on the secure subdomain and that I must do it at

    https://store.mysite.com/

Also told that I can't have two SSL Certs on the same site (according to host).

    What to do?

True - - A normal SSL Cert is issued to a specific domain url
If www - - must be issued to the www.xxx.com
If not www then issued to the xxx.com variant

There are "Wildcard" SSL's available that will secure multiple sub domains in the same account BUT sit down when viewing pricing

That is actually not quite correct on a cPanel install.

For example, I have one domain frnt.org with 2 separate stores in 2 separate subdomains

    https://www.zencart.frnt.org

    and

    https://www.personalnaturals.frnt.org

Each subdomain has it's own SSL cert ....
