    Default Showing different in Safari and Firefox

    Take a look at this page in both Safari and Firefox. The selections box on the right side looks correct in Safari but is lower in Firefox. It's not making sense to me how this could be happening. Any ideas?

    The URL is: http://coffinwear.com/index.php?main...roducts_id=352

    Thank you for your help

    These sorts of problems are usually because there are html errors and different browsers are dealing with them in different ways.

    You have quite a lot of such errors on that page, so the first step would be to sort them out. If that doesn't clear the problem, then at least it will make it possible for us to see what's going on without the randomness that these errors can cause.

    I was finally able to get the selection box moved up in Firefox so that it's the same as in Safari. However, my add to cart button still will not move up.

    I've worked with W3C and the things that it's telling me are errors cannot be changed. For instance, it's telling me that I need to change parts of the URLs to my pages so it will be validated. So whenever I "fixed" anything according to W3C, nothing worked.

    Any ideas?

    You have a whole heap of very fixable errors.

    For example, the first error directs you to this
    <div id="customize_style_container" style="margin-top: "3px;">
    I've marked in red the double apostrophes that shouldn't be there.

    Your second and third errors direct you to this
    <Script language="JavaScript">
    which should read
    <script type="text/javascript">
    Your fourth send you to
    </SCRIPT>
    where a non-existant tag is closed

    Your fifth draws attention to
    <FORM NAME="form1">
    and explains that xhtml is all lower case.

    And so on ...

    These are fixable and either are or obscure the causes of cross-browser issues. I get that fixing them is a hassle. But if you want help resolving problems, we need to be able to see the problem clearly, rather than through the confusion of multiple other issues.
