1.3.9e new install

My client is migrating from a OScommerce cart with a working UPS interface. When I asked the last webdesigner how they got a UPS account without even using UPS (they dropship) she said at the time (years ago) when she set up the account you could connect without an account.

Well they need to continue to have UPS because their dropshipper uses UPS so what can be done here?? Is there a hack or something that we can use to continue their interface with UPS on ZenCart.
