Identification linking

I have several people who presently recommend our site. I track these people by user tracking. I have to say its a bit of work to pick these people out by the links and then find the sales that are existing and I was wondering would it be possible to do it an easier way.

For example could I assign a number that is similar to this

User nine

I could then immediately Identify the people who deserve credit for work.

That would help me a great deal. Does anyone know of a way of doing that? I can then give credit to the people who have done work while doing my job.
