Can't add New Products

Some how I've broken the link on adding a new product. I was trying to turn off the "New Products this month" on the middle column bottom (which I was unsuccessful in doing). Now when I hit "new product" in the admin area it gives me the opps broken link. New Categories works just fine. Any idea where I might look to fine where I broke it?

Look in the /cache and see what debug logs are created ... this should help lead you to the problem ...

It only shows logs of when I installed it. It's been working fine for months. This is a new problem. only when I try to add a new product. I can modify existing products and I can add new Categories.

I noticed that when I put my cursor over the add product button it does not show a url at the bottom of Firefox like it does for add category.

I noticed that in the html code it is not generating an a href for the add new product button just a form.

I solved the problem. I had to do with Restricting Categories based on Product Types. I had restricted them by a type and after it would not let me add new product to the categories I restricted. Once I changed that it now is working again.
