Installing several sites in subfolders - step by step

Hi,

I would be most grateful if someone would make a step by step guide to installing several sites on subdomains for example for different languages as I am trying to do like this:
http://www.mysite.com/shop/en
http://www.mysite.com/shop/fr
http://www.mysite.com/shop/sp

when having to use the same database and prefixes.

I tried installing a second site following another thread here but ended up overwriting the database so don't wanna do that again.

How would I go about it? Please give examples of how you would use the prefixes for all three examples, would I have to create these tables in mysql aswell?

Ps. I am aware of the language packs and possibillites with that but want fixed prices for different currencies, something I can't achieve with all three currencies €,$, Kr in the same store.

The only possibility for using ONE DB is to use the 3rd party multisite module

All right, so I guess the other sites would be added after installing the multisite module, I always figured it was the other way around - that the module was only made for managing multisites, not able to actually create them. Will give this a go immediately, let you know how it goes! Thanks again!
