Default File does not exist: 401.shtml

I keep seeing this in my servers error log:

[Thu Aug 12 12:25:54 2010] [error] [client my.ip.here] File does not exist: /home/example/public_html/401.shtml

    Does anyone know:

    #1: What this file does?
#2: Why am I missing it?
#3: Is it Zen Cart related?
#4: Do I need this file?

    Thanks

    1 & 2. Your server's default ErrorDocument directive is set to "401.shtml".
Your hosting company is thus expecting you to create your own such file to display whatever custom message you desire to display when such an error is triggered.

    3. It is not related to Zen Cart at all.
    4. It's up to you. See 1 & 2 above, and/or talk to your hosting company.

    Hi Dr. B,

I'll get on to my hosts and get them to take a look then.

    Thanks
