Images auto uploaded all broken

Hi all,

I am using version 1 38a. All of my uploaded images are broken. I know this is prolly an easy fix but i was poking around and i couldn't figure it out. I uploaded the images with the admin page and uploading the file into html/images/ ( and i confirmed that the images are still on the server but when i went to <mysite>.com/images/someImage.jpg i couldnt get there)...

The java script link on the page souce is img src="images/someImage.jpg"

any help would be greatly appreciated... also let me know if any clarification needs to be made or if this should be posted on a different thread...

Do the images display on your ZenCart pages?

Check case and spelling when entering link in the browser

When i first set up the site the images where there, now not. I loaded the images via the admin page. Funny thing also, when i try to reload them and go to the preview they are still broken, i have checked in google chrome, fire fox and explorer.

I do code, but my main language is java i am helping a friend with this site, so i can look into the php im just not very good with php.

Any help would be greatly appreciated and please let me know if you need more info.

Navigating directly to an image throws an error
as in(space added to break link)

Is it possible that "hot link protection" in the hosting account management portal has been enabled?

There should also be an error log capturing the detail that is not part of ZenCart but part of the hosting tools

That sounds like something i should defiantly look into, i will get back to you with what i find

i couldn't find anything on hot linking on the images, i'm still looking for logs, I just find it very strange that i cant even navigate to the image itself but when i log on the server its there.

any other places or things for me to check out would be appreciated!

So i called my hosting provider and they said it was an issue with my htaccess file, i dont know too much about that file so i am going to look into that, funny thing tho i haven't touched that file ever and the yet the date on it was july 17 while the bulk of the uploaded files are dated in October....anyway i am still searching for a resolution so i will gladly accept any advice...
