We have a company building a ecommerce site for our premium cigar business. The problem we've run into is that virtual merchants like Pay Pal don't want to handle our site because we sell tobacco. Does anyone know a virtual merchant that will work with our zen cart site and handle tobacco products?

What law are they stating that you violate??

violate applicable laws or industry regulations regarding the sale of (a) tobacco products, or (b) prescription drugs and devices

Awhile back I stumbled upon another payment alternative to Paypal called GPal. Since Paypal did not want to handle merchants who trade guns, they created this payment alternative. The rates are cheaper than Paypal and they also have a module created for zencart.

I have not used them yet but you may want to check them out.
