Different background for different pages?

Every time i think i have something figured out, i hit a new dead spot

I did a search for this, but didnt find anything i was sure was adressing the same problem, so here goes...

Is it possible to have a different background INSIDE the frame for different pages?
Currently my main page is a big interactive image, but as it is now, it uses the same image on all other pages....which i ofcourse dont want

Is there a way to keep the image and then change the background for ex. categories, info etc?
So frontpage has the image, but all other pages have either a
#colour or another image as the background?
And again, were talking image inside the frame, not the background background. Did that make any sense at all?

I'm doing it HERE. The category header area image, and the backgrounds, will change colour when viewing different categories.

I am using CATEGORY-SPECIFIC stylesheets. Inside the stylesheets folder is a CSS-README. That explains how you can create stylesheets that affect different areas of the shop.

Another way of switching background or foreground styling or elements is with Smart Backgrounds from Free Addons. If you have lots of pages to switch images for, it can be simpler than making many small stylesheet files, and it can apply to individual ez-pages.

Lots of people have used flash on various Zen Cart pages - search the forum for descriptions. However, this will always slow down the page, sometimes significantly; unless your particular products need some flash presentation, I would advise against it, and keep it limited in any case. Do not hinder your visitors from becoming customers.
