Very Odd Error Logs

Hi,

I am getting error logs for every page i visit on my site, and example of two are:

[Wed Aug 18 11:39:17 2010] [error] [client 86.132.190.212] File does not exist: /home/mydir/public_html/403.shtml, referer: http://www.mydomain.co.uk/

[Wed Aug 18 11:39:17 2010] [error] [client 86.132.190.212] client denied by server configuration: /home/mydir/public_html/includes/templates/mytemp/images/index.php, referer: http://www.mydomain.co.uk/


Does anyone have any idea what this maybe, the site seems to be functioning perfectly on the front end??

also getting:

The system is specifically and intentionally set up to prevent browser access to .php files under the /includes/ folder.

But, something in one of your addons is trying to load /includes/templates/temp/images/index.php, which breaks those important rules.

Fix whatever you've got that's trying to access that file, and those messages will go away.

The ONLY files you should ever be accessing under the /includes/ folder is the .css and .js and .jpg/.gif/etc files for display purposes. Accessing .php files there is a no-no.

Thank you for your advice so far. How would you recommend i track what add on is causing this. Secondly what should i do for the 403 shtml erorr log, as far as im aware there should not be a 403 shtml file in zencart. Would you advise editing the htaccess?

Well, since nothing of that sort exists in original Zen Cart files, I suggest you compare your site against original Zen Cart files to see what's different.
Then analyze every addon you've installed to see if any of them do something rogue like that.

Correct, there's no such file included with Zen Cart.
Every host configures their server differently. It's common for hosts to point to a 403.shtml file when 403 errors occur, allowing you to simply create a custom 403-error-page as 403.shtml. Or you can just ignore it.
