New Products Scrolling Sidebox

I've got the New Products Sidebox on but for some reason only 1 of my products appears on there and it scrolls up to the top then refreshes and starts again. I've tried changing the random new products for sidebox in Maximum values but this makes no difference.

Ideally I want all the new items to continuosly scroll round,

Any ideas?

What are your settings in:

admin -> configuration -> maximum values -> New Product Listing - Limited to ...

How many new products do you have?

Set to 6 but tried lots of different variants. Only got 2 new products at the mo, but surely it should be showing both
