I've been going through the upgrade motions and was testing my payment modules when I ran into some trouble. While in test mode, all transactions were failing, even though I was copy-pasting the test numbers.

Short story: The problem was that my test server was not SSL enabled. So, after I moved the test install to an SSL enabled domain, the tests started working.

Devs, please update your documentation to make it clear that testing Authorize.net (or other modules) requires an SSL domain.
