    Default Site Alignment Issue

I am working on a new template for the zencart shop and I can't figure out how to align my store to the center of the page. I have spent a good amount of time on this and can't seem to figure out where the files or combination of files center the darn thing. Here is a link to the site. http://shopargus.com/

    All thoughts are welcome!

First off, it's not a good idea to use the classic template for customization. It will come back to haunt you big time.

You have "massaged" the layout quite a bit, but you can start by adding margin: auto; to the #pagebody call in the style.css.

Again, it's better to follow the Tutorials/FAQ for a custom template and keeping the general framework would have had a margin: auto; listing in the stylesheet.css.

Thanks for the style sheet addtion. It worked. As for the template as a whole I think - I will redo it when I get a little more time. Thanks for your help!

I am also having some additional site alignment issues with the product display pages, any ideas?

Here is a link to see the problem: http://shopargus.com/index.php?main_...products_id=93

Again, thanks for all the help I can get.

I don't know where you got this template, but the attempt to merge it in classic is making a big mess.

And, I fear you are succumbing to the "Never enough time to do it right, but always enough time to fix it later" syndrome.

I would save the template you are trying to insert, re-load all classic files, and start over following the custom template guidelines in the Tutorials/FAQ.

I know this seems like a lot of wasted time, but you will find that the time spent now will save a LOT of time later.
