Nothing was changed about HTMLarea in 1.3.9.
You must have missed something in the upgrade, or didn't upload all files properly.

Well the upload was done with Filezilla without error. but the install did no go well for me after trying to upgrade my database selection all I would get in a page saying zen cart was not installed and I needed to run zcinstall again. So I backed up mysql and did a complete install and then restored my database. I had to medial with the .htaccess to get the site to display right
    Code:
    #OPTIONS -Indexes -ExecCGI
I had to do the same for my image directory. All my customizations were tucked away in the override system for templates and such.
Is there a way to reinstall just the HTMLarea? or will I have to put FCKedit on my server?

Ah Ha I got it back I had to edit the
    /www/shop.nilandsplace.com/radio/editors.htaccsess
    file to this
    Code:
    #OPTIONS -Indexes -ExecCGI
I got this explanation from my webhost
    Hello,

The Options directive controls which server features are available in a particular directory. However, these features are set by default and may not be altered - this is why the directive should be commented - to avoid an internal error.

    Best Regards,
    Joey
but I have no Idea what it means other than its just a hassle for me

Commenting-out all those OPTIONS references only reduces the security protections on your server. Apparently your hosting company doesn't like letting you protect yourself.

I just upgraded to ZenCart 1.3.9. I am unable to get ANY Rich Text Editor to work. I installed FCKeditor and it behaves the same as the 'HtmlArea' mod.

Basically, I can set the default Text Editor in both the 'Configuration' -> 'My Store' section and the 'Catalog' -> 'Categories/Products' section to either editor. The changes stick, but when I go into edit a product, it still displays the regular text editor.

Please help as I have spent far too long on this.

    Thank you,

    Scott McNeany
