Version 1.3.9 Easy Populate Advice Needed

I am a complete newbie to Zen Cart and just setting up my zen cart and would like to use easy populate and drop shipping with version 1.3.9, with multiple suppliers and support for multiple shipping options including UPS, Fedex, and USPS if possible. Can someone tell me the difference between versions and which ones to install of the easy populate and drop shipping modules? Does it matter which one is installed first?
Pretty high aspirations I guess for a newbie. Not sure how to do this yet but need it set up this way. Any suggestions?

They are seperate and install which ever one you like first

Remember, as you learn and at all times before you mess in the database Back it up FIRST....just in case
