500 errors after upgrading

running zen cart 1.3.9 f

I have 2 sites that keep getting 500 internal error, and also emails getting ate up by the zen monster. Did not have these problems with zen cart 1.3.9 d

500 internal "SERVER" errors are not ZenCart but the server

since a "500 Internal Server Error" is being sent to you by the *server*, when *it* encounters an error ... and javascript doesn't run on the *server* (it runs in the browser only).

A good server administrator will be able to find specific error details explaining the cause of "500" errors in the server logs. That's the best place to start when trying to figure out what's causing those problems.
