How do I change the "sales message goes here" font, size and color?

Ok I changed the Your Message Goes Here thing with mine but..

It's grey, and almost no decent background is fit, it's "hidding" in any picture, since all pictures have grey shades. Only plain color would do, especially white.

I wanted to make it something more stilysh, hot burbon red, over the photo of an ultra light airplane (white) on a green landing lane.

Well, my title looked like dirt in the grass, totally mimetised.

Did anybody managed to obtain results with that before? And how?

All of that is controlled in the stylesheet. If you use Firefox, get the webdeveloper's addon which will allow you to tinker with the css on the fly (I believe the Firebug addon is similar). If you don't have Firefox, get it and one of the addons I mentioned. It's free and an invaluable tool for finding stuff like that.

I am on linux debian lenny using Iceweassel of Mozzilla, would that do?

Do they have a .deb file to install too?

I'll do a search right now, but if you are more savy than I am, please give me a clue.

Firebug cannot be installed because incompatible with Iceweassel 3.06 etc. etc. etc.

I do have installed Drupal 6, but never touched it (no time to play now)

Would that do?

I'm not familiar with what you're using, so I can't really help with that. The fonts and colors are definitely controlled by the stylesheet. You can see if there are any addons available for your browser that will help.

In reality I am not familiar with what I am using either, it's all an exepriment without anestetics here.

"Drupal" woun't run standalone, dunno why!

"Firebug" I found it in "Synaptic", version 2.0 someting, installed it, won't run standalone, and I tried to open the php file in iceweassel hoping this will automatically activate the firebug, but NADA.

I installed "bluefish", they call it the ultimate HTML/PHP editor, it really has a bunch of things, but no colors for the fonts.

I installed "Geany", same result

I installed "Screem html/php editor", this one has colors, but applies them wrong to the selected area:

so instead of seing the text in red I see the text and the code as text.

Try to apply to this text a red color with your firebug and send me the output copy so I can see, this way I could in the future corect the misdoings of "screem" once I understood the logic, since this one is the closest to a result.

It's a long way to the top if you wanna rock and roll!
