    Um ... No. GoDaddy killed their proxy server a few months ago. So, you MUST set the CURL Proxy Status to false.

    Further, GoDaddy does NOT open port 1129 on their economy hosting plans. To get that port opened, they require that you pay three times as much for no better service before they'll open that port.
    You'll find MUCH better value for your money if you go with a real hosting company instead.

    I am not sure why the support guy gave it then.

    What other hosting companies are good for the money?
