Google Base feeder Character problems.

Hi All

I'm having slight issues with the googlebase feeder module, speak marks are appearing in the xml feed as quot;

Any Ideas?

That is an ampersand.... Is Google giving you errors?

Thanks for the reply ampersand is & " is quot;.

Googlebase is working fine its just in the descriptions there are quote; instead of "marks".

I can go through and manually edit these out but I dont want to have to be doing this as im trying to automate the whole process.

I have been told there is a php function which strips dhtml tags?

ampersdands are not just &


The one you are having trouble with is " vs quot;


Most likely you have incorrectly coded the " ampersand in your descriptions.

Thanks for the help, still no joy unfortunately. I'm using the stock googlebase feeder module. The description titles have " in, something is changing these to quot; but without the &.

Anyone have any other ideas?

Your source of your descriptions should not be " but rather &quote;
