customizing menu options

i have been trying for the longest time to figure out how to change/remove options from the menu drop downs. i have asked for help on this forum, asked the auther of the menu drop down with no response or results. using firebug i can find and remove the code but i cant figure out where its pulling it from and what file its located in. any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you

Ex. removing all sub catagories from home menu button and some under information drop down.

Did you install the mod, or did it come pre-installed on your template? You can look at the unzipped mod package to find out what files are in it.

its a mod. ive looked in all the files but its being pulled from somewhere else and i cant figure it out.

I haven't used that mod, but those options are all list items. You should be able to use the Developers Tool Kit to search for (for example) 'conditions of use' to see what file they're contained in (probably in one or more of the tpl_ files that come with the mod).

if you look at the sub menus now, i was able to get rid of the text, somewhat. i cant figure how to remove the actual sub menu.

i have been having a lot of trouble getting my drop down menus fix to my needs and im bout to dump the whole idea. Does anyone know of another horiz. menu with drop downs that is easy to configure and customize?
