Hidden Supplier name per product?

Hey guys,

If someone had a large number of items on their Zen-Cart, how do they manage which item comes from which supplier? (Say if they were using multiple suppliers)

Is there a way to add a hidden field to each product that only an admin can see?

So for example, Product A, is from Distributor B. Is there a way to mark it as such so the admin knows which Distributor to purchase more from when stock is low? Other then alternative book-keeping methods.

It depends on what product fields you are already using.

For instance, you could possibly use 'manufacturer' to do this. If you use all the existing fields then the best way is to add another field to the products.
