Product images not uploading since I changed server.

Hi

One of my sites is experienceing a problem with uploading product images since I changed server.

Each image is never making it and I am getting a 'no picture available' instead of the image I upload. This has never been an issue before.

I have looked at the directory and file permissions on my server and for some reason some images are uploading at 644 and some at 777 which is definately wrong but not sure why this is and how to fix it.

Obviously the host is giving me the usual "we dont support third party scripts" response, although they are having a look for me but so far no joy.

Any ideas oh clever forum members?

UPDATE: All images are uploading at 777 file permission - this can't be right!
