Relationship(s) between product images

I am BRAND New to Zen Cart, and am struggling with a bunch of concepts. Today's struggle involves images.

I have a (test) product, with an image, price, category, etc. Good. Works. Happy.

Where do I put the _MED image, and the _LARGE image, and how are they displayed? I want the <click here for a larger image> link to actually show a larger image, rather than the same image as on the products page.

The tutorials I've read don't walk through adding products, and what the relationships are to the default Zen cart functionality, and how/where to put/upload things.

Any help to this (REALLY bright green!) newbie is appreciated.

/images/pic.jpg -- thumbnail
/images/medium/pic_MED.jpg -- picture for product page
/images/large/pic_LRG.jpg -- large image that shows when clicking on "click for larger image"

i wish that worked for me, it just shows the same small image

Are you sure you named them all correctly, and loaded them to the correct folders? Post examples of exactly what you did.

Admin > Configuration > Images

The above is where you can changed default image sizes for various pages. Perhaps it will help and if not, still good info to know about.
