    Default Authorization not working correctly

    Hi all

    I have my site set that all customers need to be authorised before they can view prices etc

    and i am having 2 issues

    1)

    when a customer signs up the normal generic Welcome email goes out, (not a problem as i can change that to say your approval is pending)

    However when i approve the customer the email they receive just says the below

    "Your customer status has been updated. Thank you for shopping with us. We look forward to your business."
    No mention that they are approved etc at all, short of writing an email to each customer is there a way to tell them they have been authorised.

    2) when a customer signs up there is no message shown on screen saying that their account is awaiting authorisation it just says

    Your Account Has Been Created!
    Congratulations! Your new account has been successfully created! You can now take advantage of member privileges to enhance your online shopping experience with us. If you have ANY questions about the operation of this online shop, please email the store owner.

    A confirmation has been sent to the provided email address. If you have not received it within the hour, please contact us.
    What am i doing wrong, as I am assuming there should be a message saying you account is awaiting authorisation, but there is no mention anywhere about that

    So, the authorization process is actually working correctly, but you're expecting different emails to be sent, right?
    Those are customisations which you will have to write to suit your needs.
    You can alter the text which is sent in those emails by editing the corresponding language files.

    I realise i can change the text of those emails thats not the problem, i guess i just assumed that when you clicked the red approve button that the resultant email sent to the customers would mention they were approved, and i had a setting wrong somewhere.


    Also regarding when the person registers (and authorisation is required) i assumed the contents of

    includes/languages/english/html_includes/customers_authorization.php

    would display on the screen not the default "congratulations your account has been created.."

    i can't seem to find anywhere at all that calls the customers_authorization.php as it seems to be the file that should appear when someone registers and again i assumed i had something set wrong

    Thanks though, as i know my settings are right and i just need to edit the relevant files just a shade confused
