    Default Using bread crumb problem

    Hi,

When clicking the next button in say "womens clothes", I end up at the parent category, (if the product is a linked item)
Instead of continuing searching through womens clothes, I'm now searching through, say Unisex (where that product is first created)

Is there a mod or something to prevent jumping out of the category into the master?

    Thanks!

    What version of Zen Cart?

    Clean install or an Upgrade?

Have you an URL that we could perhaps peek at with a click for click on how to reproduce this problem that you are experiencing?

    Hi Ajeh,
    I'm using 1.38
Lots of mods (too many to remember easily)
    ....better together....seo....ask a question....etc.

Here is a link to some of our mens fancy dress costumes while viewing one of our main categories (Mens)
The "Baby in a highchair" product has a master category of "Ladies", but as it can be used by a man, we have linked it from the "ladies" to the "mens" category.

If you click on "Baby in a highchair" it goes from navigating the mens, to navigating womens.

Might make sense when you see it done....

    Any ideas?
    Thanks for looking

The Products Listing via a Category Navigation will follow the current Category that it is in, regardless of the master_categories_id ... unless your template is a problem or your SEO/rewrites are causing issues ...

What happens if you switch to the Classic Template?

What happens if you turn of the SEO/rewrites?

Ah yes, the Seo Urls module is the culprit.

Is there a rewrite module that might not cause this or a known fix?

I'd like to keep using it as were number one at the moment in google for our searches, and would hate to spoil that
    Thanks for assisting.

Afraid I am not sure how to fix it as you apparently are breaking the logic in Zen Cart to manage the current categories_id when you use your SEO/rewrites ...

If you change what you are using for them, I do not know what the affect will be of your placement on the search engines ...
