can ZenCart be set up to handle Company Profiless?

I have a customer who would like to use ZenCart for their eCommerce store. They are asking to have a separate area for company profiles...

They would be able to offer a product and when the visitor gets to the product info page there would be a button that says "View Company Profile" and the visitor would click on it and be linked to the company profile page.

I'm wondering if ZenCart can be modified to do this or if there's an Add-On for it.

This sounds as though it might be similar to what we did for a client who sells school uniforms. There the same product comes in different colours for different schools to match their uniform policy.

No mod for that though. We built had to develop it specifically for them.

Okay, a visitor clicks on a product and is then taken to the product info page.....

The product info page list price, weight, description, picture, etc etc.....

I want this page to also have a link that sends the visitor to an Artisan/Company profile page...

This page would provide the visitor with a profile of that artisan/company and also show otehr products being offered on the site from this artisan/company.

I'm new to ZenCart so I am poking around forums and seeing what others have done. Is this something that E-Z Pages would be used for?

Other needs if possible:
managed by the store owner (ie: adding new artisan/companies)
This page may use a different design (can it be set up with a different template)

EZ pages are what you want. Then just code a link to the artisan's EZ page in the product description.
You would then have to code links to the other products into the EZ page. No way to do all this automatically, I'm afraid.

Or you could set up each artisan as a manufacturer and place the link to his EZ page in the manufacturer's URL box.

You can have EZ page-specific templates - there's a mod for that.

And inside each product is a "Product URL" field, where you can specify a URL where you can find more information about that product. You could use that field to point to your artisan's EZ-page.
